Bad Dog
My brother and I joined forces again and formed Bad Dog, a San Diego band that played funk, rhythm and blues, and blues-rock, both originals and covers.
Studio 3
The era of the first digital synthesizers and sampling keyboards. My songwriting and compositions got more "experimental", influenced by artists such as Phillip Glass and Laurie Anderson. I also worked as a sound designer and audio technician for the Old Globe and other theaters in San Diego.
The P-15s
It was the beginning of the punk/new-wave era. My brother Bruce and I, along with bass-playing buddy Gordon Merrick, headed to Los Angeles, ready to hit the big time.
